Micheal Seeker

Mick was born in Plymouth, MN.  He and his family moved up to Crosslake in 1995 when they bought The Cedar Chest Restaurant in Crosslake.  Mick worked closely with his parents at the restaurant where he was first exposed to learning what owning and operating a small business  meant; he was 12 years old when they took it over.

In 1998, Mick started his Electrical Apprenticeship with Joos Electric in Crosslake.  After two years there, he went on his own and started Riverwood Electric with a business partner for 13 years.  Gene and Mick connected while Gene was an employee at Riverwood Electric.  In the Spring of 2013, Mick and Gene started Timber Ridge Electric.

Mick and his wife, Becca, have been married for 22 years and have three boys.  He and his family enjoy all things outdoors, being involved at church, and coaching the boys' Hockey Teams.  He has been to known to take them on a hunting trip or two and some snowmobiling out west.

At Timber Ridge Electric, Mick serves as the Field Supervisor which includes:  Managing the field crews, ensuring their work meets and exceeds Timber Ridge's high expectations, meeting with customers for consultations, meeting with job foremen and interior designers to ensure each project is streamlined and as efficient as possible, while maintaining the highest quality standard in the industry.

Gene Engisch

Gene was born and raised in the Brainerd lakes area. He attended Brainerd Senior High School and graduated in 2002. While attending high school, Gene was already pursuing the family trade, working full time as an electrician for his father both his junior and senior year.

After several years of apprenticeship with his father, Gene moved on to work for RIverwood Electric, which is where he met Mick Seeker. Gene worked with Mick for about 10 years, and also worked for a year in North Dakota in the oil fields doing commercial and industrial electrical service work. It was at this point Gene became a Master Electrician and teamed up with Mick to form Timber Ridge Electric in 2013. Since then, Timber Ridge Electric has always prioritized high quality service, attention to detail, as well as customer service and a personal experience. What started out with only two guys and a service van, has grown into a thriving business with twelve employees and five crews, managing hundreds of projects at a time.

Gene currently resides in Crosslake, with his wife Marissa, and their five children. He has deep roots in the area, and loves to serve his church and community. They especially enjoy spending time on the lake together as a family. He also enjoys serving the church in other capacities, including mission work in Bosque del Progresso, in Jalisco Mexico. Gene serves as the full time office staff for Timber Ridge Electric, although he may occasionally be spotted on the jobsite to provide support to the staff when needed.
